7:30 p.m. EST: Chicago Bears Sign Panthers RB D’Onta Foreman

The Chicago Bears have signed former Carolina Panthers running back D’Onta Foreman to a one-year, $3 million contract, according to a report from ESPN. Adam Schefter.

Foreman’s year with the Carolina Panthers set a career high in volume. On 203 carries, he posted 914 yards and five touchdowns, leading Carolina in both categories. Foreman finished 28th among running backs in DYAR and 27th in DVOA.

7:17 p.m. EST: Philadelphia Eagles extend CB Darius Slay after release speculation

The Philadelphia Eagles and cornerback Darius Slay have reached an agreement on a two-year extension that will keep Slay in Philadelphia through 2025, according to a report by NFL Network’s. Ian Rapoport. Slay’s deal is for $42 million with $23 million in guarantees, per Rapoport.

The news comes a day after Slay was released. While the release was planned, it was never officially filed. Slay and the Eagles were able to come to an agreement to keep him on the team.

5:44 p.m. EST: Indianapolis Colts Sign former Eagles QB Gardner Minshew

The Indianapolis Colts have secured their backup quarterback in former Philadelphia Eagle Gardner Minshew, according to a report from NFL Network’s. Tom Pelissero.

Minshew appeared in five games for the Eagles, starting two. He finished 44-for-76 for 663 yards and three touchdowns, good for 133 DYAR and 17.0% DVOA.

5:03 p.m. EST: Chicago Bears, New England Patriots release QBs

According to ESPN Field Yates, two teams passed on the quarterbacks. The Chicago Bears released Trevor Siemian and the New England Patriots released Brian Hoyer.

4:48 p.m. EST: New York Giants Re-Sign WR Darius Slayton

The New York Giants have reached an agreement to bring back wide receiver Darius Slayton, according to NFL Network’s report. Mike Garafolo. The deal is two years with a base value of $12 million and a cap value of $16.5 million, per Garafolo.

The Giants selected Slayton in the fifth round in 2019. In 2022, Slayton led the Giants with 724 receiving yards. He finished the season with 148 receiving DYAR and 13.5% DVOA, 26th and 16th respectively. Both ranks are the highest of Slayton’s career so far.

3:02 p.m. EST: Seattle Seahawks Sign Lions C/G Evan Brown

The Seattle Seahawks are signing former Detroit Lions offensive lineman Evan Brown, according to a report from NFL Network’s. Tom Pelissero.

Brown has started 24 games over the past two seasons for the Lions. In that time, he posted an increased block rate of 2.2%. In 2022, Brown allowed just one sack, according to Sports Info Solutions.

2:55 p.m. EST: Chicago Bears Sign DT Andrew Billings

The Chicago Bears and former Las Vegas Raiders defensive tackle Andrew Billings have agreed to terms on a one-year, $3.5 million contract, according to a report by NFL Network’s. Ian Rapoport.

Billings spent one season with the Raiders, starting 14 games for Las Vegas in 2022. Billings collected 40 tackles, five tackles for loss and 1.0 sack during the 2022 season.

1:30 p.m. EST: New York Giants Sign Colts WR Parris Campbell

The New York Giants have agreed to a one-year contract with former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell, according to a report by Jordan Schultz of The Score. Additional reporting from the New York Daily News Pat Leonard noted that Campbell’s deal is worth up to $6.7 million with $1.5 million in guarantees.

The Colts drafted Campbell in the second round of 2019, without him becoming a full-time starting receiver until 2022. Last year, Campbell caught 63 passes on 91 targets for 623 yards and three touchdowns, leading all Colts eligible receivers in DYAR and DVOA. However, his 31 DYAR ranked 62nd among 85 receivers, while his minus-8.4% DVOA ranked 65th.

12:48 p.m. Miami Dolphins Sign Jets WR Braxton Berrios

The Miami Dolphins have signed former New York Jets wide receiver and tight end Braxton Berrios to a one-year contract, The Athletic reports. Jeff Howe.

Berrios spent the last four seasons with the Jets, appearing in 65 games. In 2022, Berrios caught 18 passes on 32 targets for 145 yards. He also served as the team’s leading punt returner, with 21 punt returns and 26 kick returns in 2022.

11:17 am EST: Pittsburgh Steelers Cut LB Myles Jack

The Pittsburgh Steelers are releasing linebacker Myles Jack, according to a report from ESPN. Adam Schefter.

Jack spent one year with the Steelers, amassing 104 tackles and three tackles for loss in 15 games.

10:58 am Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sign Broncos RB Chase Edmonds

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed former Denver Broncos running back Chase Edmonds, according to a report from ESPN. Adam Schefter.

The Broncos traded for Edmonds midseason as part of a deal that sends Bradley Chubb to the Miami Dolphins. With the Dolphins and Broncos, Edmonds rushed for 245 yards on 68 attempts, caught 16 receptions on 24 targets for 157 yards and scored three combined touchdowns.

10:31 am EST: New England Patriots Sign LB Mack Wilson

The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with linebacker Mack Wilson, according to a report from OBR’s. Brad Steinbrook.

The Patriots acquired Wilson from the Cleveland Browns in a trade for defensive end Chase Winovich. Wilson appeared in all 17 games for New England last year, racking up 36 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
