A Pennsylvania court unsealed additional documents the killings of college students in Idaho case, revealing that police seized a knife during a raid on the home of the suspect’s parents in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI arrested suspect Bryan Kohberger at his parents’ home in the Pocono Mountains on Dec. 30 during a nighttime raid.
They searched the house, his car, the garage and a shed on the property.
The new warrants reveal that police took a door panel from his car, seat cushions, headrests, seat belt, visor, brake and accelerator pedals, a lanyard, “maps and documents” and other items.

Pennsylvania court documents related to the raid on Bryan Kohberger’s parents’ home in the Pocono Mountains were unsealed Thursday after a 60-day court order that kept them secret ended.
From the home, police seized several weapons, including a knife and a Glock pistol with three magazines. They took a mobile phone, laptop and black face masks, as well as a black hat.
The list also included a prescription, a “green leafy substance” in a container, vehicle documents and other documents, including a phone bill and a handwritten password, and a book “underlined on page 118.”

The first item seized from Bryan Kohberger’s parents’ home is a knife. All four University of Idaho victims were stabbed to death around 4 a.m. on Nov. 13, 2022, according to police. Another item that stands out – a “book with an underline on page 118.”
Additional items seized in the Dec. 30 raid at Kohberger’s parents’ home include a computer. utensils, accessories; in paperwork from Washington State University, where he was studying for a Ph.D. in forensics a few miles from the victims’ home; and a spiral notebook.
Police were looking for anything that could link Kohberger to the victims, including evidence that he was stalking them or gathering information.

The 4 a.m. ambush killed University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen, 21, their roommate Xana Kernodle, 20, and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, also 20.

The documents show police busted the car of Bryan Kohberger, who investigators in Idaho said had followed the victims’ home at least a dozen times before the murders.
Kohberger, a 28-year-old Doctor of Criminology. student at the University of Washington during the attack, is accused of stabbing all four undergraduates to death on November 13, 2022. Schools are about seven miles apart.

A witness told police he saw a man in dark clothing and a black mask with “bushy eyebrows” leave through the back door after the murders. Police seized several pieces of dark clothing, gloves and masks from the home of Bryan Kohberger’s parents, where he returned for Christmas break after finishing his semester in Washington.
They took several pairs of boots and other articles of clothing.

The list includes “IDs in the glove box.” They also got a shop license.
Another item found by the police – a “note to dad from Brian”.

Another item seized was a maroon spiral notebook, labeled after a ‘note to dad from Brian’.
According to previously released court documents, police found a Ka-Bar knife holster near Mogen’s body and recovered a DNA sample from the snapshot.
During the raid, police also discovered a sheathed kitchen knife at Kohberger’s home, according to Thursday’s documents, and a pocketknife.
The genetics matched a family sample taken from the garbage outside Kohberger’s parents’ home.

On Tuesday, additional documents confirmed that police swabbed the suspect’s mouth when they arrested him on December 30.

Kohberger is being held in the Latah County Jail in Moscow, Idaho, without guarantee. His next court date is June 26. He faces four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary.
