Good morning Britain Presenter Kate Garraway pointed out a “factual inaccuracy” in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s statement announcing the christening of their daughter Lilibet last week.
The TV presenter said the bishop who baptized the 21-month-old princess was not an Archbishop, as Prince Harry and Meghan’s spokesman confirmed.
Meanwhile, Prince Edward has been named the new Duke of Edinburgh, taking over his late father’s title. His wife, Sophie, is now the Duchess of Edinburgh and their son James is the new Earl of Wessex.
It comes as Buckingham Palace officially updated the royal family website to reflect the new titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children.
Questions about whether the couple will attend the coronation of the king and queen still hang over the occasion.
a spokesman for Harry and Meghan said The times that they have received “email correspondence” about the coronation, but no decision has been revealed as to whether or not they will accept the invitation.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s children have not yet been invited to the coronation
Harry and Meghan’s children Archie and Lilybet have yet to be invited to King Charles’ coronation in May, according to a report by The Telegraph.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who currently reside in California, reportedly received their invitation via “email correspondence”. However, Archie and Lilibet are currently not invited.

Harry and Meghan’s children Archie and Lilybet gave royal titles of prince and princess
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan’s children will be officially named Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet, it has been confirmed.
The confirmation comes after Lilibet was christened Princess Lilibet Diana in a ceremony in California on Friday (March 3).
It is understood that the King knew in advance that the Sussexes intended to refer to their daughter as Princess Lily and that there was correspondence on the matter.
Initially, Lilibet, one, and her older brother Archie, three, were not given HRH titles at birth because of their place in the line of succession. At the time of their birth, they were both great-granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth II.

‘No royals attending’ Lilibet’s daughter’s christening in California
King Charles III and the Prince of Wales reportedly did not attend the christening of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter Lilibet Diana.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex christened the 21-month-old last Friday (March 3) in an intimate ceremony at their home in Montecito, California, but senior members of the royal family were absent.
