GREG GUTFELD: Stanford, UC Davis Protests Show Left Has Recipe for Failure

youngNow you can listen to Fox News articles!

Let’s talk about Stanford. Some call it college, though now it seems to be little more than a daycare center for brain-dead gasbags. It started last week when Fifth Circuit Judge Kyle Duncan was invited — remember that word, invited — by the Stanford Law School Federal Society to give a talk? But when it started, that’s what happened.

JUDGE KYLE DUNCAN: Well, you invited me to speak here, and I’m being slammed nonstop, and I’m just asking for an administrator to…

HOST: He is an administrator.

STANDFORD DEI DEAN SLAMS INVITE FEDERAL JUDGE TO FACE HIM ON CAMPUS EVENT, ASKS IF FREE SPEECH IS ‘WORTH’

You know, keep in mind, these aren’t kindergartners in holly pants. These are Stanford Law students in cocoa pants, but their dean is worse. A giant sack of pants, if you will.

TYRIEN STEINBACH: I feel uncomfortable because this event tears at the fabric of this community that I care about, and I’m here to support… I have to ask myself and I’m not cynical to ask this: Is the juice worth the squeeze?… And it is uncomfortable to say this to you as an individual, uncomfortable to say that for many people here, your work has caused harm.

Oh, shut up. Sorry. Thanks. I’ll take it. So she’s the victim, or at least playing one, because that’s her job after all. It’s Tirien Steinbach, Stanford’s associate provost for, you guessed it, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Although it should really be diversity, inclusion and equality, because that would be DIE, what all successful people want to do, die. Because it’s all about equity. The idea that no matter how hard you work and how talented you are, you won’t and shouldn’t catch up to anyone else. The left always changes words because we used to call it communism.

To Stanford’s credit, the law school’s president and dean later apologized to the judge for what the judge called “deeply unbecoming bullying behavior.” So guess what happened next? The same students who harassed the judge are now harassing the administrators, protesting for an apology now. Lucky for me, I never say I’m sorry. I do, though. When Stanford Dean Jenny Martinez left the classroom after a lecture, she found hundreds of students lining the hallway, dressed in black and wearing masks that read: “Dissent is free speech.”

ELON MUSK, OTHERS RESPOND AFTER PROTESTERS BLOCKED WINDOWS, HAT EGGS AT CHARLIE KIRK’S COLLEGE COMMENCEMENT

So what is the counterargument? It is the riot that stifles free speech. So their concept of free speech is that no opposing side can ever speak. I thought you had to get married for that. But it’s like I always say, if someone calls you a bully, just bully them until they shut the —- up. Anyway, as for Steinbach, the diversity cop, she’s probably too dumb for anything else, but the thing is, she still has the job, so she’s safe. That’s the joke of the woke industrial complex, it teaches you nothing but how to complain about people trying to succeed and no one wants that person in the workplace. So you have to get a job like Steinbach’s to survive, because while the students are failing in real life, the rage dean is still making a pretty penny. Meanwhile, elsewhere in California, Antifa rioted at UC Davis because a conservative, Charlie Kirk, was speaking.

That’s a lot of “wows”. Of course, the school stood with the freaks against the speech. Here is the chancellor of UC Davis.

GARY MAY: UC Davis stands with our trans and non-binary Aggies in opposition to this hateful and divisive message.

How’s that for a divisive message? You are a douche. But he’s also afraid, afraid of losing his job, so he has to bring up the mob. But once again, we see the ridiculous contradictions, right? Leftists believe that the reason they are uncomfortable is violence, but that the literal violence they unleash in response is freedom of speech. So why do these students go to college? Why go there in the first place? You think they want to succeed in life, but no. No one succeeds as a victim, and that failure only makes him angry, which fuels his victimhood. It’s a self-perpetuating losing loop.

It’s like they want to be like Brian Kilmeade, and he’s not even here. Rest in Peace. Just kidding, he’s alive. God, don’t die during the show, Brian. But we see this recipe for failure throughout society.

This DIE BS creates the appearance of progress without really paying attention to customer needs. They’ll say, “Hey, look at our alertness rating. Never mind that this is a bank and we’re going bust.” And this becomes motivation for weak minds. I mean, you could do a good job, a really good job, and maybe no one would notice, or you could show your alertness and be recognized without having to work at all. It gets worse if a recruiter has to choose between a competent White guy and the only diversity option left, because that pool is already depleted, it will hire the leftover diversity to meet its quota, so companies downsize, while those who embrace the equity ability manage to keep their jobs. Just like that dean of stocks.

But they are everywhere now, even financially. Silicon Valley Bank probably didn’t collapse because of the wake, but how does the wake make anyone want to put their money in your bank? How does any of this make someone more trustworthy? Back in the day, if you opened a bank account, they gave you a free toaster. Now it’s a lecture on pronouns.

SIGNATURE BANK: The most common pronouns people know are she and he. You probably have clients who use these as pronouns, they are gender neutral pronouns on purpose. We talked about people who are non-binary and intentionally don’t identify as male or female, so some of them use those as their pronouns. Ze is another gender neutral pronoun and the other part of it would be hir, spelled HIR

This was Signature Bank, currently in a lot of trouble. So the bad news is that you might lose your home. The good news, when the movers come, you can call them by the proper pronoun.
