This new Apple TV Plus lineup looks to continue to build on the streamer’s increasingly impressive sci-fi catalog. Not only that, but Extrapolations is a television show with a foreboding climate-based message at its heart.
An anthology science fiction drama, Extrapolations tells a multi-decade story of humanity’s struggle to combat climate change. Each episode works as a standalone story, but there’s an interesting plot line that sees the characters’ journeys collide in a plot that eventually takes shape in a collection of interconnected stories.
Critics have suggested Extrapolationshas a tendency to beat us over the head with its political and environmental messages. However, critics have hailed the talents of the show’s all-star cast, which includes – but is not limited to – *deep breath* Kit Harington, Meryl Streep, Sienna Miller, Edward Norton, Daveed Diggs, Tobey Maguire, Gemma Chan, David Schwimmer , Keri Russell, Forrest Whittaker, and Matthew Rhys. Phew!

Agent Elvis (Netflix)
Elvisone of HBO Max’s best movies, may not have won an award at this year’s Oscars, but that doesn’t mean the legendary rock’n’roll star’s time on the big and small screens is over — and this R- Netflix’s rated animated series proves it.
Swapping his iconic white jumpsuit for a jetpack, Agent Elvis then sees Elvis join a top-secret spy program launched in the 1960s, tasked with stopping the world’s biggest supervillains. It’s a long way from performing to huge crowds on the world’s biggest stages, isn’t it, Mr. Presley?
With gratuitous violence, sex scenes and plenty of profanity, this one is not a family affair. Still, viewers are sure to be entertained by what’s on offer, as well as his voice – Matthew McConaughey, Christine Hendricks, Simon Pegg, Kieran Culkin and Priscilla Presley among his extensive ensemble.

The Wizard’s Elephant (Netflix)
Agent Elvis it’s not for kids, but this heartwarming CGI flick will warm your heart and entertain your kids. Well, for a weekend, at least.

The Magician’s Elephant isn’t as inventive as the stories say, but its themes, star-studded cast, and stunning visuals will keep those young toddlers engaged for a few hours. Don’t be surprised to see it in our best Netflix movies and new Netflix movies lists soon.
